Our project had been a contribuution to the Globe project, promoting sustainable and green living. We as a group believe that it is important not only to be environmentally sustainable but also economically. We kept this in mind when chosing our project. We found a large problem in the Netherlands, the dying bee population. We did our research and discovered what a vital part in our lives bees play, how they polinate our food and how they support most of the ecosystem. Our project aims to bring the bees back to the Hague by making your gardens bee-friendly. This will hopefully benefit the environment, supporting the wildlife of the Hague, but by doing so will benefit the economy, not through this project alone but through the awareness we raise and the hope that you will continue to grow seeds and help the bees in your back garden, terrace or window sill.
